How do I study nutrition, Paleo style?

I'd love to do some further study at a college or university on nutrition, but all the courses in Australia where I come from seem to tow the standard low-fat-high-carb line. Has anyone done a course that I could complete by distance/online, perhaps in the US that is Paleo friendly? I found one organisation - The Nutritional Therapy Association, which offers a program that seems to follow the Weston Price principles, has anyone completed this course and found it worthwhile? Other suggestions? Thanks!!

Is it accredited? I forgot where I read that the school was a "quack."

I completed that course and am certified as an NTP...some good stuff, some bad. Probably the closest you will find to a Paleo-friendly program, however it is not perfect. I did it in-class though, not distance. Let me know if you have any specific questions about the program. I'll answer any questions you have in exchange for you writing me as the person who referred you ;-) They like to reward such actions.

Hi there - I'm now (two years after your post!) looking for a similar course to do. Just curious if you did the NTA course and what you thought about it? cheers

Hawthorn University has a Masters of Holistic Nutrition program that is based on WAPF. It is done in an online/mentored way that seems pretty good. Last I checked it was about 9 grand, which is reasonable for a Master's degree.

Yuri Elkaim, has an online nutrition course called Super Nutrition Academy. I have not done it my self but it looks to be along the principles you are looking for.

The website URL: http://supernutritionacademy.com/access-2/

A youtube webinar explaining a bit about it: http://undergroundwellness.com/super-nutrition-academy/
