I am 28 years old, 5'6" female weighing in at 171lbs with 22% body fat. This is my second attempt to at the Primal/Paleo/Crossfit lifestyle and no matter how hard I try I can seem to get my Protien levels in the 130g range and my carb level to the 100g range. I feel like I have to eat an entire cow and two chickens to get my protien requirements, and not matter how hard I try not too I am still eating too many cards despite it being only fruit and veggies. Anyone have any insight? I really need some help.

second the reducing/removing fruits, i doubt anyone can max their carbs on veggies alone.

an alternative ofcourse to eating tons of meat may just be a protein shake, probably preferable to making yourself sick with tons of food.

To drop the carbs....no dairy, one piece of fruit per day... max.

Are you sure you;re counting protein grams correctly?

I would NOT increase your protein. Increase fat instead. And to drop carbs, you're going to have to limit the fruit.

Turkey, tuna, and cheese have some of the highest protein levels out there. Try eating a lot of that instead of beef. If you want to get your cab levels down, read up on the Atkins diet. I did it for a while and kept my carb intake under 20 a day.

Sub-100 grams of carbs probably require foregoing fruit and dairy. High protein is just a factor of eating enough meat.

3 eggs, 6 ounces each of chicken and beef is about 110 grams of protein and essentially no carbs. A few pounds of veggies on top of that and you're at 130 grams of protein with maybe 70-80 grams of carbs depending on your choices. 130 grams of protein is a hefty amount, probably not necessary, 80-110 grams is more than sufficient.
