i am a gymnast, but I have found out that to get higher scores in meets and competitions I must have better flexibility. I am willing to to work hard for a long period of time but It seems to be taking forever
is there anyway that I can use hacks to help me

To become more flexible at a reasonable pace you must be sexually abstinent. BKS Iyengar explained this in his book Light on Yoga. This is because prostaglandins released during sexual activity cause vascular inflammation and for your muscles to become longer your blood vessels must become longer too. Testosterone/progesterone also actively hinders flexibility gains by contracting the length of the blood vessels to fortify them against infarction from said prostaglandins.
I suggest you wait at least a week after cessation of sexual activity before stretching. Don't stretch balistically.
