Hi All,

Has anyone tested electronic muscle stimulator for muscle/strength growth?

If so, whats been your experience?

Thanks!

I heard it last night and liked the podcast. I was staying away from Robb wolf for some reason and sticking to other sources of paleo. I don't know if its because he is "mainstream" paleo guy.

I have a TENS/EMS but that helps me alot with my back pain but the one I think im looking for is a Russian muscle stimulator which is at a 2400hz frequency which goes deeper into muscle tissue. I just have a $30 TENS portable unit which will not work. Thats why I wanted to see if anyone out there has had any luck with anything like it.

The most recent episode had Terry Wahls on and she was talking about using electronic muscle stimulator for MS treatment.

Actually I don't listen to Robb wolf that much, I got it from Ben greenfield from his primalcon session, I'm going to listen to his episode.

The parts that stick to skin lose stickiness in time and may be expensive depending on the machine.

May be a better alternative to standing desks since you probably can work any muscle you want to without increasing the risk of varicose veins and alike, IMHO.
