Is it normal to have loose turdies after increasing fat and vegetable consumption?

i've been on a moderate carb paleo diet for a couple of weeks now and haven't had one normal bowel movement. when i was on a high carb diet with lots of pasta and soda my turdies were always bulky and perfect.

also, do the loose turdies mean i'm not absorbing the nutrients from the veggies and fat?

i haven't had dairy while on the diet, but i've regularly consumed milk before with no issues.

Every time you change your diet (for the good or bad) your digestion takes a while to re-balance itself. Most of the time it will cause loose stool but sometimes it can cause constipation. If it continues for longer than a week or you feel week, disorientated, dizzy or cant keep food down you need to see a dr. It most likely isnt your new diet per say but there may be a portion of it you need to tweak or you could just be sick.

Depending how loose your turdies are! If they are watery then there's probably something up. When they are smooth and easy to pass (rather than those big stonking bread turds) then you're eating well.

Actually, "loose turdies" are normal! Read more about it here: http://gutsense.org/

Are they liquids, or are they just little, separate poo marbles? Because less frequent, smaller poos are a fairly commonly reported change when on a paleo diet. Less filler.

Do you consume milk products? You might be intolerant to lactose.
