Please bear with me... I am 56 and female. For MANY years I had problems with sinuses, ears, headaches and was always "treated" with steroids, anti biotics and painkillers which only masked the symptoms for a bit. I also had low energy and was told I had anaemia but nobody could explain why. I would take a multi vitamin for this.
The in an effort to improve my health I had some raw garlic. The next day my stomach was awful, had terrible headaches. I then decided to drink some raw cabbage juice every day thinking I had a stomach ulcer and needed to cure it. Having read that loads of people swear by this. For three days I drink four small glasses of fresh raw cabbage juice each day. Last night I had a glass which was twice as big before going to bed and woke with an awful stomach. The only thing garlic and cabbage have in common is sulphur. I can eat eggs no problem. I do have a reaction to coffee which contains sulphur.
I live in the UK where things are very different to USA, you cannot get tests for things you have to do this alone.
Would appreciate your thoughts and please contact me email@example.com.
Thanks so much.

I agree on the FODMAPS comment! Sounds like you have issues with the foods that are restricted on the low FODMAPS diet.

I'm a 40+ years old female and had a lot of stomach issues in recent years. Too much garlic and cabbage are not good for my stomach. The only thing that's worked for me is to cut out all grains, beans, and corn for a few months. After a few months, I felt a lot better and can now eat a little bit of rice. But too much rice, rice noodles, or grains at any given meal or in a day and the stomach issues come back. What is your diet like, other than the garlic and cabbage?
