I drink mt dew beyond a normal daily amount. my diet is highly irregular. I used to be able to maintain a wieght for a lenght of time, but recent injuries have laid me up for a wek or two at a time. the last injury lasted a few months and packed on 20 lbs due to limited mobility and cronic pain.
I want to shed the wieght, but, no excuss here, everytime I start to feel healthy i end up with an injury ie; ankle, back, shoulder, wrist, and knee. all injuries i have gotten in the past 8 months. either sprained or muscle spasms.
any advice would help, i am a mother of 2 toddlers and am limited by a lack of a gym in my area, i live in the country.

Try replacing the soda with whole fruit. This is to prevent lethergy by keeping the amount of carbs the same and hopefully your cravings for soda won't be nearly as bad either. Then I suggest gradually lowering fruit intake to lower amounts over time.
