if ingesting a lot fat can block insulin getting to cells, slow blood sugar getting cleared from blood stream, then it makes sense to eat carbs with a little, not a lot, of fat, no..? I'm talking when carbs are at levels required for intense sport performance... the carbs have to displace fat, protein remains at base level ideally... What do you think...?
Fat can delay and or prolong the blood sugar spike - better to get it over and done with for performance... (This certianly applies around workouts, but what of other times...? Eg If I am training intensely 3 days a week, with 1 day in between two of those days, what would be a good strategy for eating... I feel better on higher fat sometimes but also want performance, and in theory and my experience performance is infintely better when a lot of carbs are involved...
