Spectracell vs. Hair Mineral Analysis conflict. Which is right?

My spectracell reports I'm low in copper (one test 7 months ago).

My hair mineral analysis tests report I'm high in copper (3 times over 3 years).

I appear to be reaction to histamines since going paleo so I think the copper status is important.

Which test is more likely to be accurate?

My doctor says the hair mineral analysis shows what you've excreted, not what's in your cell.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Mike

I'm a sucker for a lab result that is multi-color with a bar chart. The hair analysis results look pretty, but based on the copper thing, I don't think I'll do it again. (I've done 3 in 3 years - all pretty similar)

my 2c, i know nothing about spectracell, but i'm guessing its better than hair analysis for assessing current status. yep, i'm not a fan of hair analysis (for current status. may be it has some historical worth, idk.)

The sense I get is that spectracell would be more relevant.
