Lot of dumb posts lately coming from here, I'm sure they all get deleted but they get sent up instantly on facebook and therefore get read, think you could moderate this ?

Either Patrik, or votes from members with a certain amount of reputation.

It may be Durian Rider trying to spam paleohacks with dummy accounts.

Who should do the manual curating? The NON-PAID moderators?

They're all on my RSS feed too. Not as annoying as Facebook though. I has to hide PH from my feed.

Good point. The troll festival is flooding the Facebook list. I'd rather all the posts get to Facebook promptly, and instead someone smack down the troll with an IP ban.

It's sad that Plain-Jane is throwing a temper tantrum, but it'll die out. Posting privileges will get removed, the rage will fade. Just reading the repeat circular arguments being spewed out really won't change anyone's mind. All the lifestyle guru's being complained about are just commercialized translations of the message. It's still the same message so there really is no need to bash it; if it sells to people, so much the better. If not, they probably will be convinced by the changing tide of public health attitudes.

The same thing is happening on Twitter. Maybe the system used to post threads to social networks can be changed to reflect only "hot" topics, or even just be manually curated?
