Does anyone have a good source for crab? What is a good way to get crab? I live in Seattle just in case that matters....

Crab source?

This guy goes for a visit with a practitioner of our oldest profession. A week later, he finds himself itching. He returns to the scene of the pleasure.

"Hey, I got crabs from our time together!"

"What did you expect for 25 bucks," she responded. "Lobster?"

It's been running $4-5/lb whole cooked at most grocery stores on the WAcoast. I prefer 2 lb, but they've been running much smaller this year. Yesterday I shucked a pint of meat out of two 1-1/2 lb crabs. Man is it good, salty fresh and clean tasting.

QFC is awash in fresh crab right now, and it is on sale.

We are lucky enough to live near the Dungeness Spit, which is crab central. Pike Place Market always has it, or you can get it straight from the boat if you head down to the docks by Chandler's in interbay.
