Soft foods post surgery

Any recommendations on lower carb soft foods? I will only be able to eat soft foods for 2 months after an upcoming surgery. Obvious choices will be eggs, mashed sweet potatoes, whipped cauliflower & other things of that texture. I still haven't adjusted to organ meats so I don't think liver p??t?? would work... But I'm hoping someone will have some higher protein/lower carb ideas...? The surgeon suggested lots of pasta & that's just not going to happen!!!

agree with bone broths and other recommendations.

I would also add, good protein whey powder. Blend some almond butter, chocolate protein powder, frozen blueberries and milk /almond milk/ water.

As a kid I would have never eaten this but http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/smoked-fish-mousse-recipe/index.html but it sounds pretty good now.

Using homemade bone broths, cook and purée veggies for soups like carrot-ginger, tomato zucchini, sweet potato, pumpkin, mushroom leek, etc. the bone broth is healing and the flavor combos (don't forget spices and herbs) are endless.

ground meats (turkey, beef, chicken, bison, lamb), slow cooked meats, pureed soups (possibilities are endless), gelatin, fruit smoothies, kefir, yogurt, dry curd cheese (this stuff is SO good with honey and has no carbs), applesauce, and avocado pudding made with cacao powder.
