Europe trip ahead - snacks needed - allergy issues

Will be touring Europe - with two very long airline flights on each end. Follow pure paleo - but am intollerant of all nuts. This makes bars almost impossible (or so much fruit sugar that they are a bad choice). Jerkey is good, and I've bought plenty. Any other ideas that are airline approved?

Thanks in advance,

Andrea

In those sorts of situation.. I always have some PowerCrunch bars with me.

I like the choc over choc & choc over PB.

They're not health food, they're not paleo, the label ingredients are somewhat scary BUT they are useful in a pinch when the alternatives are worse. It's bar with decent protein, fat & low carb at 200 calories can usually tide me over 'til real food is available. Just do the best you can in any situation you encounter. No airline pretzels for me.

I'll try and avoid all grains, nuts and seeds - but will have to be gentle with myself mentally if I can't stay 100%

Trans-oceananic flights are a good reason to do 80/20 paleo! Eat the in-flight meal and snacks, minus what you are truly intolerant to.

Super good answer. I don't do well on fasting - I know this already. The coconut is a great idea - and some fruit to be sure.... 85% dark choc is good too!

Coconut pieces, very dark chocolate, bacon. Grapefruit sections , Granny Smith Apple. Aged Cheddar. Intermittent Fasting ! Do a practice 24 hour fast and see how you do before leaving. Probably be healthier to sit on a plane without food in your stomach.
