Hey guys,

What are your go-to snacks, i'm realizing I'm eating way too many nuts. I need easy things, especially easy stuff to take to work

That's how I get the seed out too! Cleanest way, imo.

Same here. Once I got over the mindset of needing a snack between meals and just eating two big meals, I found that my energy levels are more stable and I was able to lose a bit more fat / weight. Now I usually don't crave anything anymore between those two meals.

Good luck finding grass-fed deli meat.

I like the idea of breaking the snack habit. Eat meals that satisfy and keep you fueled longer. By keeping handy stacks available, you will always reach for them. Make it more difficult to snack.

Something else to consider is cutting out the snacking entirely. Once I went morning coffee plus two meals a day within an 8 hour window (leangains protocol), it simplified a lot of things concerning food. I wasn't hungry between meals and thus didn't need the snacks. This was also helpful on longer road trips where old me would stop at gas stations for junk, best of intentions healthy me would try to pack healthy snacks, and current me will eat before we go and just drink some water and I feel great. Just a thought, once I eliminated the snacks, it really pushed me over my plateau, give it a shot!

Just found some grass-fed beef sticks the other day. Awesome.

Also check out coconut flakes (48% saturated fat). To me they are the paleo potato chips!

I like to always have some hard boiled eggs, avocados and homemade jerky on hand. My favorite snack for a quick energy boost is a hard boiled egg with half an avocado. Delicious! Hope that helps!

I carry avocados and plastic spoons and knives, the fat in the avocado not only very good for you but also very satiating. Personally I wash all my avocados before cutting them and the way i remove the seed is I bite it with my front teeth and twist it out lol

Broth! I just had some - it's satisfyingly salty and fills you up without being too calorific.

Try some bacon bits. No, not kidding, they're awesome and the fat will cut off your appetite very quickly.

Snow peas! I'm a big fan of things that crunch and these really curb my cravings between lunch and dinner.

Hard-boiled eggs, cheese, apples, bananas, raw veggies like carrot sticks and zucchini, and cold sausage or deli meat. I find it's pretty easy to take raw veggies and a small container of guacamole for dipping to work/school. Mostly I don't snack though and don't really feel the need to if I've eaten a filling yummy breakfast and have a filling, yummy lunch to look forward to. Perhaps breaking the snack habit is your best option in the long run?
