I can't get more than 6-7 hours of sleep most nights. I'm in college and I actually feel fine when I wake up. I'm not tired and just can't even sleep more. On breaks I sleep maybe 8 to 9. But I'm kind of worried cause I know sleep is important but I just can't sleep more than 6 hours! Is this normal?

If you don't feel like crap then you're fine, when I fasted for a week I was sleeping 4-5 hours a night but felt totally rested, wish I could it everyday!
I would agree with Samc, everyone is different and if it's not limiting your daily function then there's no concern. I watched this Ted talk last year and it helped me understand a good perception of what normal sleep should be....and as a bonus he describes the neurological benefits.
Sounds normal for someone young and in good physical shape. Don't sweat the details by reading about what you should be doing. If you are functioning fine and not dozing during the day or don't feel like you are dragging then you are good. I rarely feel better by sleeping longer and have never been a napper.
