Skin on torso painful/sensitive to the touch - could gluten cause this?

Started a Whole30 today, I have crohn's.

However, last week I was at a party and had some food I shouldn't have had. I had a few trips to the toilet/migraines/was feeling ill for a while which was expected. One other thing I've noticed is that for a day or two after eating gluten/sugar/wheat?, I develop some sort of skin sensitivity on my torso. It feels as if I am sun burned! It's on my upper arms too. I am going to see the doctor if I can't resolve it!

I notice that when I DO eat paleo approved foods, I get no skin pain/sensitivity. Another good reason to stay paleo.

Does anyone have similar experiences?

I used to get that, too. Can't stand to be touched when it happens. Since dropping gluten I no longer get it, hooray!

This is a classic glutening symptom I have seen countless time googling my on "glutening" symptoms. I guess it's just our incentive to distance ourselves from foods which make us feel yukky in this way. It affects everyone differently but skin symptoms are definitely one of the common things people mention.

Sounds like gluten/grain sensitivity to me.

Lots of people have similar experiences. Not everyone obviously, there's plenty of those people out there who really have no reaction to anything, but yeah it could certainly be a food reaction.
