I don't have the studies at hand but from what I remember:

  1. Zinc
  2. Vitamin A

Food sources of these may include:

  1. Liver
  2. Red Meat
  3. Oysters

High protein foods and pork rinds / animal skin should also help by giving your body more of the building blocks which skin is made of (amino acids/specific amino acids).

Selection of the food is needed to be done quite carefully. Eating right food helps in strengthening your immune system preventing unnecessary inflammation in the body, which makes tattooed and healing more difficult. Consume extra source of vitamin c increasing consumption of Garlic and onion in your diet will also help. Include soaked nuts, wild salmon, organic grass fed meat/eggs as extra source of protein.

Avoid foods such as grain-fed animal products, fried foods, caffeine and beverages containing sugar.

You could supplement with arginine and/or you could eat foods rich in the amino acid, such as nuts, dairy, poultry, and seafood.
