Neprinol? Have you used this product for scars? Fibriods?

I just had very serious surgery and have hypertrophic scarring, so I'm looking for a little additional help for reducing inflammation and fibrin. This product was suggested by a friend, but I can't seem to find any reliable information online. Any suggestions regarding dietary help for this problem would also be greatly appreciated in advance.

Just wanted to let you know I tried the TCA peel @15% yesterday and it did nothing. This strength fries my face but did nothing on the bod. Last night I ordered the 30% and that should do something. I am still hopeful that some strong acids will help but am going to keep up the rolling as well.

If the scar is in an easily reachable place you might also look into a TCA peel. You can buy at www.makeupartistschoice.com. Some people have had good luck with those. I bought some but haven't tried it out just yet.

I second this - I have used "proteolytic enzymes" for healing. I don't know how much they helped but I healed nicely. Serrapeptase is one - it's derived from silk worms of all things.

Oh, thanks for the reminder about demarolling. That was something I was considering and it slipped off my radar.

Thanks for the Bromelain suggestion. I'm a little hesitant to trust websites that are produced by the manufacturer, though.

Haven't' tried neprinol but I have seen some results from dermarolling. I have many feet of surgical scar on my body (plastics post-weight loss) and after trying many other things I bought a dermaroller and its definitely given me the best results of anything else I have tried. You can buy them online. It's torture but it does seem to deliver results. You may want to invest in some numbing cream (Emla which is Rx or LMX which is not) which helps a lot.

Try www.neprinol.org It appears that this is the manufacturer (?) and it is a Canadian drug. They also have different formularies for different immune problems.

As for dietary help, years ago I was put on Bromelain after a biopsy. It appears that this is one of the enzymes in Neprinol. The Bromelain worked for healing, which is what I was told it would do. cev
