Im going to make my first broth soon & wondering what have been your own personal benefits from bone broth?
I've read a few reports from searching google and most of it all it seems to help joints which is great as im knocking on 30's door & my knees are starting to show their age a bit early
Personally im going for joint/skin benefits and muscle sparing for times i go low protein.
As its so good for skin/high in collagen i'll be throwing in pigs feet/tails & rind with my broths, but would also like to focus on making good broths for my mum that has leukemia, it makes sense that marrow & broths in general would be good for her.
Any reports or recommendations related to any of this are very welcome.
PS my first broth will be being made later this week, im going to mix beef bones, lamb bones & pigs feet/tail, put a decent amount of them in a slow cooker, cover with water, add ACV/salt/pepper & let it go on low heat for 24 hours, pour it off, add more water & repeat, seems pretty foolproof, only thing im unsure of is whether i have to scrape a layer off the broth or just let it go?
I plan on mostly mixing in my broth with roasted veggies, or adding to some hot water for a warm drink during the day
