My skin is severely clogged with lots of bumps under my skin and an overall heavy look. I have rosacea so I seldomly clean aggressively because it really irritates my skin. I have to the conclusion that diet doesn't affect it at all, so I need some paleo friendly topical suggestions.

IIRC, tea tree oil can have estrogenic effects. Just a heads up.

Tea tree oil is paleo friendly, and extremely potent unless dilluted with another oil. Eucalyptus oil, witch hazel. Definitely do a spot test to make sure you don't have a negative reactions.

while not sure if "strictly" paleo, you can mix milk with unflavored geletain, heat it up, then spread a thin layer on affected areas of you skin (warning it smells really bad) let it dry, then peel away, and a forest of gunk from your pores will come out. You can also spread egg white (pastured, of course, don't want salmonella poisoning) on your skin, let it dry, then peel it off for the same effect

Not sure if you eat dairy, but try and eliminate it and see if that helps. Also the egyptian magic clay!

i use bentonite clay. i've been having a lot of breakouts from being on prednisone for so long. every time i try to taper, it gets worse. the clay masks help, but i've been thinking of trying activated charcoal. i saw on some blog a girl opened the capsules and made them into a face mask. if i try it, i will post back.

I have had good luck with pure emu oil. The ancient aboriginals used it for skin ailments.

I've read about Epsom salts being used to clear pores (it's also used to dislodge splinters), I think through some kind of heat or steam method. I have pretty sensitive skin, and I spray an Epsom salt solution on my skin with no problems.
