Swollen infected nose

My nose is swollen and the inside is very sore at the tip.  It started as a pimple on the inside I think.  Is there any home remedies for helping this?  My nose is huge right now and I can hardly touch it without my eyes watering with pain!    Thanks, Derrick

A swollen nose is a very disturbing symptom that can mean different things for various people. Everyone is having a different experience with swollen nose. Redness and extreme pain on one side of the nose, clogged nose are the main symptoms that people experience at the time of swollen nose. Local infection, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, trauma, nasal polyps are some major reasons that can cause this problem. Here are some home remedies that you can try to cure this problem. Firstly, always blow your nose gently. Don’t poke the inside of nose with some object or with finger. This can increase the infection. To reduce the swelling ice therapy can be used. Don’t put direct ice over the skin , you must wrap ice in some towel or zip lock bag. While lying down, your head should be elevated. This will help you to sleep and breathe more comfortably. Some anti-inflammatory medications can be taken if you are feeling your problem is getting serious. Also avoid going in dust and some other allergic reactions during this problem. May be this will be helpful for you.
