Typically I've been taking my creatine and magnesium citrate together. But do to digestive issues I decided to separate them to isolate variables. And strangely, the calm that I figured was just the Calm in Natural Calm was really coming from the creatine. It's not a particularly bad feeling just unexpected so I was wondering what's up. And I am drinking plenty of water, thanks for asking. Anyone else experience a similar side effect from creatine? Anyone have an explanation of why this may be?

I have the total opposite affect. I have my creatine first thing in the morning, literally as soon as I get up, followed by a strong black coffee, then I hit the gym. I feel good in the morning with heaps of energy. I have never heard of it making someone tired. Since you are taking it with natural calm I am assuming that you are having it before bed. The best time to have creatine is about 30 minutes before doing exercise.

With that said, 30 minutes after the in-take slowly gets u into beast mode-No doubts. So as u r post workout try some instant carbs like brown rice and then 35gms of u r favourite protein power(Nutrex my choice) will get u energized. Just my experience

I too feel drowsy right after i take my creatine, also noticiable the sensation starts right before i sip my shaker which only means it's the mind thingy more than the body!
