Why do I get really sick eating pies

I have found that if I have meat pies(steak/mince with and without cheese) I get really sick. Lots of farting and gas and stomach aches in my lower bowel.

If I have bread with cheese and ham or corned beef I don't feel any problems except maybe a bit more thirsty than normal.

Can anyone explain to me why I feel bad consuming pies but if I consume the same ingredients, (wheat, dairy, processed meat) in the form of a sandwich I get no problems? Is this because there is a lot more fat in pies than sandwiches?

Maybe you should watch Sweeney Todd.

I would look at the specific additives / ingredients in the pie.

Are there any specific ingredient differences?

If it still looks to be the fat content I would recommend trialing both a high fat diet and low fat diet. Compare how you fel on both.

I operate well on fat, but my wife doesn't.

Also look into the type and quality of the fats. Low quality beef (usually what I would expect in a pie) may cause you issues vs grass fed beef fat.
