Food cravings before and after SIBO recovery

My last question for today.

I have noticed that my food cravings have changed dramatically after SIBO recovery.

Cravings while having SIBO:

chocolate

sweets

ice-cream

dairy and creamy desserts

bread/things made with dough like pies, pancakes

fruit, especially persimmons, grapes, bananas, something sweet

Cravings now, after SIBO is gone:

meat (I crave meat more than anything else)

cheese, but not all. Recently it has been emmental. I do not crave any other type of cheese.

bone broth

pecans (I don't want any other nuts, only pecans)

oranges (only oranges, no other fruit)

But I crave meat the most.

Why such a drastic change? Why do I crave meat all the time?

You can have cheddar - it is one of the safest cheeses to eat. I am not iron deficient, I just had a test done. I did not test for zinc.

Mineral deficiency comes to mind. Iron is an obvious one. But what about zinc?

BTW, I have been thinking something similar ... I got back on my SIBO protocol a few weeks ago. I fall off all the time ... I just want blueberries! Anyhoo, the past 2 days I have been craving cheddar cheese. I haven't eaten cheese in 3 years. In 2 days I've gone through a block of it. Fat could be it, but I think I'm eating plenty of fat. I'm going to pay for it in about a week with zits, but I'm loving the cheese right now.
