I recently came across a well written article by Matt Savage; http://themodernsavage.com/2009/02/04/effects-of-male-masturbation-on-attracting-women/
Savage claims that masturbating every day can be harmful in terms of overall productivity and sexual attraction. Basically if you abstain, you will peak in testosterone levels around days 5-7. During this time you will become energetic, productive, have more confidence, be more likely to approach women, be more attractive to women etc. Apparently women can subconsciously tell when males have a strong sexual energy. Might work really well for me since I'm generally way too friendly, indirect, and shy around women. Savage ultimately recommends a 7-14 day cycle.
The comments are amazing, one guy even claims that abstaining has helped with his dandruff. Dandruff is a problem I've had for years that paleo can't even solve. I haven't gone more than a day without masturbating since 13. Not rubbing out before bed certainly makes it harder to fall asleep. I'm extremely skeptical but I'm going to give it a try.
I know some studies claim that ejaculating 2-4 times a week lowers the risk of prostate cancer, but as we know, scientific claims, especially in the health industry, cannot and should not be trusted.
...a lot of real sex is okay. The mind responds to it differently than masturbation.
What do you guys think? Fasting from food can give you super powers. Can 'fasting' from fake sex do the same?
