Why did my appetite just randomly die? Could it be my homemade sauerkraut?

I've been paleo for a year now. I haven't changed anything in my diet in the past few days but I'm struggling to have my post workout carb binge right now and usually I'm dying for carbs post workout. It feels like a switch turned my appetite off about 2 days ago.

I started eating home-made sauerkraut a few weeks ago..could that have anything to do with it?

Is my gut finally healed? (I'm not saying it was bad before..but if it was I wouldn't of known the difference). Could it be a bad sign?..I was mildly depressed Saturday night due to social/girl reasons but I've been mildly depressed in the past and never noticed my appetite changing...If anything I probably eat more when feeling a little depressed.

Anybody have any similar experiences? I hope it's something positive...

*I guess I should add that I took a Magnesium bath 3 days ago.. * I have another theory..I've been pretty strict with my carb-backloading lately only eating heavy carbs post workout. I could be in ketosis.

none of the above...My appetite is still pretty low but like you said i'll try not to over think it. I'm sure it's nothing bad.

I just used Wiki-How...it's extremely easy if you happen to have the right materials, a non-metal croc is crucial (I'm not exactly sure why). And make sure you add iodized salt! They don't explain that till the end...bad writing. Apparently the bacteria we're trying to grow doesn't like iodine. I'm really glad I read the whole thing before starting. http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Sauerkraut

Hi. I had the same thing happen to me, but after 5 months in very low carb. Look up Leptin resistance, the lack of appetite seems to me to be a good sign as it means my leptin resistance is either gone or wildly reduced. After 49 years of having too big an appetite, it is heaven. I wouldn't worry about it, enjoy it rather.

As to why it takes so long - are you an older person, like me (I'm 49)? I have a theory that older people's bodies take a lot longer to react to changes in the biochemistry.

Good luck>

I dont know, maybe your hunger is still blunted from the workout?

maybe you are eating outside of a regular eating window?

It could be anything. I wouldnt overthink it.
