I just checked out your link...either I got in late and a lot of paleo people already chimed in, or the vast majority of people recognize this is idiotic and reply "no" in general.

If you are buying products directly from a farmer how would the government know? There are no regulations... I think taxes like these for supermarket/ regulated products Of course, I feel for those who can't afford/ don't have access to farmers, and have to buy supermarket meat.
Another loopwhole for alot of fats is if you are using them for cosmetics (ie. coconut oil)
