Do you feel it is our responsibility to confront the conventional wisdom that we so often come across in articles like this one on --gasp-- Huffington Post, that advise us to steer clear of bacon and saturated fats, or suffer the consequences?

If I'm ever quoted in some famous phrase book, I hope they pick up on my favorite saying: with ability comes responsibility. (yeah I came up with it, though I doubt I'm the first)

Since you know the truth, you should tell people. You have the ABILITY to enlighten. People may not want to hear it. They may be resistant. It's still your responsibility to piss them off and point out the delicious truths. Ask them to show you a REAL study... rather than the usual, blind, "research has shown" or "studies have proven" cop outs.
