He states that it increases AGE's, then goes on to say that fruit we buy is vastly different from ancient fruit---like this supported his view behind it being harmful. Even though one of the opening lines in all his presentations is that because a FOOD ISN'T paleo doesn't mean it is problematic.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0dw-K-LXik this is what im refering to.

AGE's reminds me a lot of the anti-oxidant "theory" sure it sounds bad but what is its practical application? Let's examine the macronutrient he suggests-saturated fat.

Cordain touches it here at about 2 minutes in http://www.meandmydiabetes.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/MMD-2010-03-Cordain-on-Phinney-and-Sat-Fats.mp3

Saturated fat has been proven to jack up your endothelial cells, something a lot more practical and real-world problematic than AGE's. Even if you don't suffer an MI from the plaque, having stuffed up vessels is not optimal.

It's good to know Mat Lalonde avoids fruit.
