Article on GMO Salmon

Has anyone read that the FDA has approved the first GMO animal? They have okay a GMO super salmon to be farmed. I work in the fish oil industry (wild) and this is scary to me beyond the implications on diet it's a slippery slope in the GMO world and now meats are in play. Thoughts?

Wild salmon is very good for you and is only of the only fish I actually enjoy. It's not about being a health food it's about the fact that Paleo promotes healthy grass feed pastured meats and wild caught seafood and this is not only farming but genetically enhancing as well. Perhaps when they start genetically enhancing kids it will matter to you.

It's too bad Patty, I wish we'd try the natural route first. I found this article interesting:

salmon tastes like shit anyway...who cares

it also has plenty of polyunsaturated fats...it's not a health food
