Are Costco leg of lamb and processed avocado good Paleo food sources?

I have been buying Costco lamb, bison, processed/packaged avocado and sometimes the organic beef. If anyone has any info on the quality of the meat in particular I would appreciate it. Especially curious about how the lamb is raised. Aldi seems to have an unbeatable price on supposedly wild caught salmon at less than $5 a pound. I also am curious about the quality of that. Thanks.

The lamb is delicious and quite the bargain. I have been buying Kerrygold butter from Trader Joe's. I believe it is $2.99.

Thanks for the info. I feel better now about having devoured four pounds of it over the last five days. I started buying the real avocados from Costco last week. I think it was five large ones for about $5. Not as tasty I am sure as the fresher ones in Cali but still quite good.

I believe so. It comes with four seperately wrapped portions.

Are you referring to the Wholly Guacamole they sell? I used to buy a lot of that. The ingredient list looked perfectly paleo.

The lamb is from New Zealand which means it's grassfed. Super buy! You can also get Kerrygold pastured butter at a fabulous buy. I do not believe the bison is grassfed.

Every time I bought lamb from Costco, it was from New Zealand, which is grass-fed. It also tasted amazing every time!

The packaged guac I got from there once or twice had no funky ingredients in it. I doubt it was made from organic avocados and other veg, but I don't know if that is actually a concern with avocados. I don't care for packaged guac (I'm a California girl and quite spoiled having avocados year-round for homemade), but hubby loves to have it to dip cut-up veggies into.
