Recreating the Hunt: Hashing

Anyone try this? From hash house harriers wiki:

At a Hash, one or more members (Hares) lay a trail, which is then followed by the remainder of the group (the Pack or Hounds). The trail often includes false trails, short cuts, dead ends, and splits. These features are designed to keep the pack together regardless of fitness level or running speed, as front-runners are forced to slow down to find the "true" trail, allowing stragglers to catch up.

It looks to be a ton of fun as well as good start stop sprint jog walk intermittent running exercise.

Anyone try this ? Have feedback?

perhaps we should start a paleo hashing trend replacing the massive beer drinking with coconut milk binges and venison feasts.

Done it and it is a lot of fun. But you forgot to mention all the massive drinking that goes on.

HHH = drinkers with a running problem.

On on!

Didn't know it was called that way and that adult do it! it was the favorite way to play when I was a kid, but we played with two groups, not individual vs. a group. It was fun, we were running all around the neighborhood, which I was lucky included quite a lot of "no one's" wild small forest, small valley (like really small, but great for kids), streets, even running up and down the stairs. Leaving marks, tasks, arrows etc. to give signs for the followers to catch. It was amazing!

Definitely loads of fun, I used to do it when we were stationed in Germany and I didn't have a kid,but I suppose now I use my kid and school as an excuse not to join up with the group here, hehe!

Been a hasher for over 10 years now. It's a great time with great people. There is as much beer drinking as you want though. It's as addictive as crossfit but without lifting lots of heavy things. On - On L2 CTrH3
