Before I started the Paleo lifestyle I was running 6 miles. I am on week 3 of eating Paleo and I can barely run 3. Any suggestions to help my stamina?

This is standard keto adaption, it takes 3-6 weeks. Well documented.

Grock on. With time, our bodies learn how to adjust and recognize the types of energy we're feeding it. There are plenty of stories of folks here who are ketogenic, workout fasted, and eat during small windows. At first, this is difficult and you can feel VERY hungry, nauseous, dizzy, etc. After a week or two, your body adjusts. I can't speak for running specifically, but my body made the change for lifting, biking, and soccer, eventually. No looking back now!

If you;;re having trouble running...not enough calories.

like Bradach said, low carb paleo isnt exactly geared towards marathon type activity. not sure why someone down voted you for that.

So to update my energy level running on paleo. I'm back! I didn't increase my carb intake - I basically continued with my daily intake which includes vegetable with a protein with most meals. And I'm running 5 miles so my energy level is coming back without increasing carbs.

It's amazing how resilient our bodies are. My body just needed to transition and adjust! My energy levels are up and my plan is to increase my mileage on a weekly basis until I am up to13.1.

I love paleo I am so conscious to what goes into my body it's an obsession.

Thanks for the recommendations. I was completely shocked the relationship between my carb intake and energy level change. Which logically makes sense.

Because I am new to paleo and one of my goals is weight loss I am having a hard time with increasing my carb intake. I will have to try a trial and error approach to carb intake.

Eat more and don't eat ketogenic (very low carb). Even lowish carb paleo is enough to run moderate distances (6 miles is moderate). Runners have so much woo around their carb consumption.

Eat a lot of carbs. My run morning carbs come from dates, bananas, dried cranberries, and the like. 5-6 dates is alot of carbs. I run 10 km twice to three times a week plus a fastest mile on the treadmill twice a week. Stamina isn't a problem.
