I can get it for $50 per pound locally - am I paying too much?

Anyone buy fresh roe online at a good price (salmon or other)? Which site(s) do you use?

I used to get it for about $27 a pound at my local Russian store. It was great salmon roe called "Peter Pan" brand. I don't know if you can get that price just anywhere but I'd definitely try a small Russian store and MAYBE a Japanese or Korean store. $50 a pound is not that odd but I have found it cheaper before and good quality.

Edit: It was this stuff but a better price if bought in person http://www.blackcaviarusa.com/salmon-red-caviar/wild-alaskan-salmon-red-caviar-peter-pan-17-oz/
