Back in the swing...help

After a hiatus I am getting back into paleo...my diet isn't necessarily bad but I tend to stray often. I'm 6'2 290 pounds I'm down 25 in a few months. I have recently put 2 back on and am bummed. I'm getting married in October and want to be down to 270-275. I'm not "fat" I used to be a college football player and powerlifter. Please give me some tips/kick in the ass to get me going! Here is an example of my dinner: 2 almond crusted chicken breast and 2 cups broccoli with coconut oil, garlic and canned tomatoes.

Not enough info to give a good answer. Total description of food intake, not just dinner.

Activity? Just walk an hour a day for the first month or so, no need to max out the exercise. COnsider 7 minute workout...losing fat is all about what you eat.

If your;e really serious about losing fat.... eat NO sugar, soda, diet soda, fruit juice, fruit, alcohol, milk, bread, pasta, grains, seeds or nuts. Stick with it and you should lose at minimun 1 lb per week.

If your waist is over 38"...you're probably fat.

It is pretty safe for me to say this because you can't beat the crap out of me over the net. You are probably "fat", you are just using the former athlete excuse. Does that get you motivated?

That is a pretty small meal for someone who is 290lbs. I could eat that easily and I'm 110lbs lighter and probably a lot older. Figure out your caloric requirements to lose 1-2lbs/week and try sticking with that plan, weigh foods at the start to get an idea of what you should be eating. Good luck with the wedding.
