My dentist has put me on jaw rest for TMJ and I need some help thinking of soft foods that are easy to prepare.

Does anyone have any good/easy soup recipes? Crock pot recipes welcome!

Thanks!

Thank you! Olive Garden actually serves a great Zuppa Toscana although I doubt it is strict Paleo, but still deelish!

You're welcome! Just ate some of the stracciatella myself! :) Good luck with your TMD!

Thanks! I have been eating eggs, avocado, sweet potatoes and tuna for a few days. I don't want end up hating them as they are some of my major staple foods!

Pumpkin salmon curry soup Cut up a small pumpkin, boil in enough water or bone broth for 15 minutes, together with salt, pepper, curry spices, garlic and half a can of coconut cream. Then with a hand-blender mix it all into a liquid soup, add some pieces of raw salmon, boil for another 5 minutes, then add some lemon juice and some finely chopped cilantro. If it's still hard for you to swallow the salmon without chewing, just blend through it another time with the hand-blender. Bonne appetit :)

So, oh my gosh, I'm totally in love right now with a hybrid of Melissa Joulwan's gingered zucchini soup and one I found on the internet (Smitten Kitchen, I think). I follow Melissa's recipe, but add way more garlic than it calls for. It's insanely good.

Some easy soft foods are fish, eggs, avocados, and mashed starchy veg with a little butter or coconut oil. And here's the bone broth recipe I use. So good. http://realfoodforager.com/recipe-beef-bone-broth/

I LOVE SOUP! Most of my recipes are not from Primal/Paleo blogs so ya know, don't serve bread on the side as suggested, sub out canola oil, tweaks like that. I eat Primal so there is dairy/safe starch in some of these. If that's not your thing, I think you could probably leave out/sub stuff pretty easily.

Salmon Bisque (could sub out salmon for another fish if you want). I thought this recipe was okay, not fantastic, but friend loved it.
