Has anyone tried to make a pizza crust with meat AND cauliflower?

We have tried and enjoyed both a meatza and cauliflower crust but I would love to incorporate the two. I can't seem to find a recipe that has both ingredients in the crust, just one or the other. I'm afraid of ending up with a big pile of meat mush for dinner. Has anyone tried this combo?

@CavemanAthlete are those percentages in cups? or in terms of weight (e.g., grams)? Do you measure/weigh the cauliflower before or after grating and squeezing the water out of it?

Thanks for the suggestion Desmond. We don't eat super strict paleo but if we do eat any grains we stick to gluten-free. I've tried rice flour pizza crust but I definitely prefer a non-grain version.

Not sure how strict you are but I just found Alvarado St makes a sprouted pizza crust (pre-baked...just add topping, bake for 12 min or so at 450). I've gone to the WAPF side for some things (mainly sprouted bread when I want tacos, pizza, etc). I just made a pizza on Sun and it was awesome.

Lol, thanks for the comment. I have two young boys that I've recently switched over to this new way of eating. I experiment a lot in the kitchen and they have been bearing with me thus far on all the new recipes. I would hate to disappoint when they are expecting pizza though! That's why I want to see if anyone else has tried it but If I don't find a recipe, trust me, I will be making my own! :)

...meat mush for dinner sounds pretty good to me!

Yes I tried and the secret is a 60% Cauliflower and 40% Meat. Its a little tricky getting the right mix and consistency though. Include some Photos when you make, intersted to see how it turned out for you.

Good Luck!

I would go heavy on the cauliflower and a little meat on one crust, next crust half-half, and another crust lighter cauliflower-heavy meat. Experiment and see which holds the best! I think the half-half combo should be fine if you bake it after you combine to get it less mushy. Good luck!
