Any Christmas Coffee concoctions worth sharing? (eggnog, gingerbread - mmm)

With my morning coffee today for some reason I slipped some cinnamon in it, when I drank it I got a faint taste of Christmas in my mouth bringing back memories of though's Starbucks Christmas specials - eggnog and ginger bread latte's (UK).

I was wondering if anyone had any recipes or concoctions that they had come up with for some sweet ass paleo tasting Christmas infused coffees.

I just want to be able to taste Christmas in my mouth, cheers all.

Thanks for the kind comments - Im going to try a mixed spice I have which is meant for fruit cakes and biscuits - it has cinnamon, corriander, nutmeg, clove, pimento and ginger - which would go well with some whipped cream on top mmmmmm

Very yummy :) Spicy. I've done that often. I even tried adding chai tea to my coffee grounds, sort of spicy ok but a bit muddled with the tea and coffee together. The spices alone makes for a tastier cup.

Cinnamon in the coffee was actually not a bad idea at all. It reminded me a little of christmas too after you mentioned it :)

I just add nutmeg to anything and it's instant Christmas.

I had success with this "concoction" recently: I added ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves to the grounds before bewing the coffee (I use a french press). I brew it pretty strong. Added a splash of cream. And then to be extra fancy, a teaspoon of real maple syrup.

Oh, what a lovely question! I've been thinking about doing a pumpkin spice concoction...

I wonder what putting the spices from a chai latte would taste like in coffee?

Just wanted to add that SoDelicious makes a coconut milk eggnog that I love! Obviously it is not sugar-free (but it is gluten-free, soy-free, and non-GMO, all of which are important to me), but I feel like it is a smart way to indulge when I'm craving those Christmas-flavored lattes. I drink it in coffee in the same way I normally use plain coconut milk. :-) I also love Good Earth's "cocoa chai" tea bags. Sometimes I blend in coconut milk.

I like my own take on a Peppermint Mocha. I used to get this Cafe a Cocoa stuff from Trader Joe's, but they don't have it anymore. So now I just add unsweetened cocoa powder into the grounds for my coffee (close to an equal amount, and yes, that will look like a whole lot of grounds), and brew as usual - I have a Chemex, so YMMV depending on what you use. Then I add like 1-2 drops of real peppermint extract and add heavy cream.
