How to make tooth paste?

Does anyone have a good recipe for tooth paste? I was buying tooth soap but I've ran out and it's really expensive here in Europe (though it lasts for a long time).

Same here! Which is why I opt to add cinnamon. Less surprising. Slightly more yummy. :)

Yes. Wet toothbrush and dip it in the salt...just brush for a good length of time and thoroughly. My teeth have never been cleaner. I try to do coconut oil "swish" before I brush too.

Baking soda & water. I add a little bit of cinnamon to mine. You can add peppermint oil if you prefer. :)

I usually use water and baking soda. I tried mixing coconut oil with baking soda, because it has roughly the same texture as toothpaste, but I didn't like it. Because it was the same texture and looked the same as sotrebought toothpaste, my brain was expecting minty store bought toothpaste and so the salt taste always surprised me. I suppose I could mix peppermint oil like some people, but I still don't know if it'd be the same. You can try that though!

I've really just gotten used to baking soda and water. The taste doesn't bother me at all when I'm expecting it! I actually kinda like it! :)

I have been using this Remineralizing toothpaste with good success. After using it about 1 1/2 weeks my teeth feel cleaner and some of the sensitivity in my front teeth has disappeared. The sensitivity was caused by wearing down the enamel. On my front bottom teeth, I could actually see the layers of my teeth. I can't anymore!

I just use sea salt...it's not that pleasant though.

There's a great video here... http://youtu.be/-CqR8UmAvZQ

Daniel Vitalis shows us how to make toothpaste at home using inexpensive ingredients which have been known to also help detoxify the body at the same time as clean the teeth. You could potentially make a lifetimes supply of this toothpaste for under $100.00!!!

Grind the teeth into a very fine powder, then mix with a viscous substance like gelatin.

Any pure castile soap will do; I use Dr. Bronners. Though I love me some Tooth Soap.
