Raw. No messing around with our health. This is hacking.

Anybody feel worse than before after eating raw meat?

The televised grain/sugar benefits were hacked.... Fat being bad for you hacked.....

I can't waste any more of my life unhealthy, I've never remembered ever getting sick from eating something raw, is it just me, or is the benefits of cooking about to be hacked?

And for answers, lets keep it alll about personal experiences. Scientific anatomy explanations sounds nice, but they have never worked out in reality for as promising as they sound.

It might be beneficial to do only the yolks from time to time. The ovalbumin & ovomucoid blocks digestive enzymes and ovotransferrin binds iron. The yolks golden though (pun intended).

"I've never gotten sick or any sort of digestion problems." I heard this sentence often from people eating dumpstered aged meat. If you look healthy and fit this is good. justclaiming to be healthy not trust. There is one raw paleo guy who had a parasite and it came out a life in his poop. And health is a long term topic. Health count over ages and not justt short periods up to some years.

Thanks Andrew, I have tried doing just yolks for a few days in a row on two separate occasions. Interestingly, constipation invariably followed and went back to normal when I added back the full egg. I don't like the idea of the whites having some gut irritants but my body seems to like the whole eggs better.

oh I should also add that I eat 5-8 raw eggs/day (in a smoothie), and have done so for about 3 years.

I love, love, love steak tartare. Gotta trust the source, though.

I find raw meat to be too cold for my body/constitution, however when I do eat it I feel really good, and generally find I have increased sex drive.

The book "We Want to Live" talks about raw foods and is worth a read.

I eat as raw as possible when possible. When I have to buy traditionally raised meat I cook it more than when I'm able to get my grass fed/finished meat. Whenever I'm at a steak house that has steak tartare I always get it for an app and main and I've never gotten sick or any sort of digestion problems.

I eat occasionally small amounts of raw meat. more likely raw salmon or other marine fish.

i cautious about raw meat from land animals. It depends where you live, some regions are more safe some meat is less safe. The worst thing you have to do a parasite cleanse.

I just don not like raw meat other than sushi. I like the blackened bits on meat, I grill out as much as I can. Personally I want to live a long healthy life but I am not looking to live forever so I am happy with eating cooked meat and throwing caution to the wind. ;)

I cook all my meat. Beef I'll take medium rare, pork medium, chicken well done.

I will however eat raw ground beef only when i get it from one farmer i know. And then only in maybe 2 ounce portions. Not much at all.

I eat sashimi maybe once a month, thats all raw.

I lived in japan for five years and ate raw fish daily, really like every day. I had raw horse but very rarely. I never felt bad, but i never stopped and thought "whoa i feel great!" either.

I tried raw meat/organs few years ago, don't feel any different but stuck to it mainly because of taste. It is very bland in taste and I can eat the same thing over and over again without getting tired of it. I don't eat raw eggs, just don't like the taste so I cook them every few days.

Raw meat by itself is very clean, it is pretty much sterile. It's how it gets butchered you have to be concerned about. Know your sources or butcher yourself (when hunting for example) and you'll never have to worry about bacterial infections.
