Have you tried raw (unheated) coconut water (refrigerated) now sold through Whole Foods and others?

The taste is amazing - much better then the pasteurized heat treated Vita Coco, ONE, and Zico!

This is the 100% Raw and Organic Coconut water (high pressure treated to kill pathogens) but no heating!

Here's a map where they can be found - most of West and East Coast! http://www.harmlesscoconut.com/Harmless_Coconut/switchget.html

I haven't tried this one yet: http://www.exoticsuperfoods.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=2&zenid=67fc2c3e18c4fe249a4f29bb53351181

Exoticsuperfoods is amazing!!! It's not high pressure treated, just cracked open and frozen. Expensive, but worth it!

Oh, I can't drink Vita Coco after drinking the raw - it's the next best thing after opening a fresh coconut!

Food sold in a can is for long-term shelf life - like pasteurization! The glass bottle maybe raw but in my experience raw is NOT heat treated but if it doesn't say "raw," it's likely pasteurized. The other brands of coconut water - Vita Coco, ZICO, and ONE and those in cans are all pasteurized. They may not advertise it but a bit of digging and you will find it.

I love the raw unpasteurized from Exoticsuperfoods.com. I live in NYC so I can get local delivery - there is no processing and it tastes amazing!

It sounds too good. If everything you drink afterwards taste odd, when before it tasted fine is being that good a good thing?

Yeah it's the only one I drink, when I do get it. The other ones I've tried taste a little funky to me.

Probably the best packaged coconut water out there. But what even better is fresh young coconut itself. Fresh ones you can get it at ethnic grocery store, which is way much cheaper. It takes some effort to break it open for the water, and even more to get the meat. Now I am used of doing it, I can crack a coconut and eat the meat in less than 5 minutes. I still drink Harmless Harvest's after a long run because of it simplicity.

I drink fresh coconut juice and it's always good (I live in a tropical country where fresh young coconuts are in abundance). I keep it refrigerated and it stays fresh for a few days. The best part is being able to eat coconut meat too!

Hmmm... I drink Real Coconut Water, but it doesn't indicate whether it is raw or pasteurized. Just 100% coconut water.(and a BPA-fee can!)

It is sold refrigerated, so I am assuming raw.

Yes, I agree, it's (Harmless Harvest) the best coconut water short of actually cutting into a fresh young one. It has a complex, pleasant nutty flavor and lacks that odd metallic and sour taste I get from all of the others I've tried.
