Does anyone here get their raw milk from a farmer in california?

Where i live claravale and organic pastures milk in the store in 5 dollars a quart. 20 dollars a gallon...

How much do local farmers charge for their milk if you buy it direct from the farm?

I live in Sonoma County.

Thanks!

oh man... I am thinking about giving up dairy products all together, any thoughts of pastured/raw butter? Butter/heavy cream are all that I consume, but after reading how Dr. Cordain referred to it as filter cow blood, I am not sure I want to continue drinking it especially since it is full of hormones and difficult to digest proteins :(

Umm, I live in San Jose, and looking around (and I looked far to up to 100 miles from me) organic pastures and claravale is about all there is. I went to a farm (where I get my grass fed beef) in half moon bay, she said they don't sell private because its a lot of trouble (they just have it for personal use) all the red tape and all. I am assuming the same will be for all the other small scale farms.

Sprouts In Petaluma sells a gallon of OP raw milk for $14.99

Next time you are at 101 and Washington, stop by.  It is right there in the big new shopping center, opposite end from Target.

Gee, isn't it amazing how these farmers can charge such a high price for something that is so dangerous and doesn't offer any health benefits? They have a lot of nerve. Or the consumers of raw milk have ... something.
