We currently give our kids raw milk and they drink 2 gallons a week. Ive been doing some addition research on the benefits and plan to do an n=1 and add it to my diet. However, I'm not sure how to incorporate it. My kids drink it like a beverage and I kind of look at it that way, but it's obviously a whole food in liquid form. Last time I was using milk in my diet it was for cereal...lol. If you are one that includes dairy in you diet and is able to get your hads on raw milk how do you incorporate it? Maybe I am just making more difficult than it needs to be.

My kids are not big milk drinkers, I don't think they're lactose-intolerant, but when they were babies they never liked milk very much (besides breast milk, they breast fed until 17-18 months). They just didn't like the taste, and if they had any more than a half serving or so, they would get stomach aches. They were ok with cheese and yogurt, but not straight milk.
To substitute, we have given them soy milk, rice milk, water, juice, or other drinks. However, nutritionally I don't think these things stack up well to cow's milk, especially soy milk which I've become rather skeptical of.
I recently found a source of raw milk and was delighted to find that my kids can drink it with no problem. The stuff we get tastes richer than whole milk and I suspect it is closer to light cream. My eight year old told me that it tastes too "cowy", no idea what that means, but he will drink it. I will sometimes put just a few drops (literally) of chocolate syrup in it as a treat, it seems like a tiny amount of it flavors the milk a lot maybe because of the natural creaminess.
I think this is a great thing for kids to drink, not only for the calcium, vitamin D, and milk fat, but for the raw milk enzymes. I try to get them to drink a small (~4 oz) glass about every other day. I will also put it on their cereal if thy have that (not Paleo I know, I guess our kids aren't caveboy and cavegirl).
The enzymes and other health properties of raw milk are lost when the milk is heated, so if you are trying to capture that, you should consume the milk fresh and cold. If you're cooking or baking with it, I think it is still nutritious, but you lose some of the special properties.
Many here say that milk shouldn't be in a Paleo diet, but I have always tolerated milk well and think that whole milk is good for you. I will often have a large glass of raw milk after a workout, which I think feeds my tired muscles and helps me recover faster.

If you find that whole milk has too many carbs for you and causes insulin spikes (though see below), one option is to let the cream rise, then skim off the cream and discard some of the skim milk. This will give you something in between pure cream and whole milk, with more fat and fewer carbs. You can experiment to find a ratio that works for you.
The leftover skim milk can be fed to animals or used as a soil amendment. People are finding that spraying raw milk on soil and plants can increase fertility.
When I went on the raw milk diet for about 10 days, eating nothing but raw milk (about 2 gallons/day), I was surprised how little effect it had on my blood sugar. An equal number of carbs from foods like potatoes would have sent it through the roof, but either there's something different about the way it's delivered in raw milk, or sipping it a cup at a time throughout the day spread the carbs out enough to avoid spikes. So you may want to try it first before assuming it's too many carbs for you.

I'm guessing you dislike drinking milk straight, then? I used to be hardcore WAP and go out of my way to get raw dairy. I've never liked drinking milk straight, though. I used to get raw cheese, raw cottage cheese, and raw yogurt. Sometimes i'd make my own kefir with the raw milk i got, too. Thats it.
I'd recommend these:
- raw milk cheese
- raw milk yogurt (made in a method which doesn't overly heat that raw milk)\
- raw milk cottage cheese
- culture raw milk yourself and make kefir (very easy. You could do this with yogurt too but most people arent that good at doing it and arent happy with the lack of viscosity of raw yogurt)
Nowadays, i'll eat some storebought pasteurized cottage cheese every week or so but thats it for dairy. For that meager amount i don't find it worthwhile to get my hands on the raw goodness here in NYC, incredibly health-promoting though I believe it to be.

Something to consider about milk in the diet...whether raw or otherwise....regarding insulin spike reaction to the amino acids in dairy.
Not saying you should not use dairy...just something to be aware of.
