Has anybody tried raw milk and meat only?

Yesterday I bought 2 gallons of raw grass-fed milk. It happened by accident and I know it is not going to happen again unless I find a reliable source.

I drank it all in one day. I did not eat anything else. And it felt wonderful.

So here is my question: is it possible to live just on raw milk alone (and some grass-fed meat)?

Has anybody tried it?

@Matt - say whatever you feel like. Nobody should downvote free speech.

@matt agreed, nothing is. But it is a great addition to anyone's diet.

I don't dare answer because the raw milk crazies will downvote me like crazy: raw milk is not magic.

Sarah @ "the healthy home economist" did a 10 or 14 day raw milk "fast" you can read about her experience at her blog

Why all the disclaimers and caveats? Raw milk is at least a real food, unlike the completely destroyed ultrapasteurized stuff you probably normally get. Look up Lex Rooker. He eats a raw meat diet and found it was the only thing that gave him the health he wanted.

Raw milk is an outstanding food-source. It has been maligned by the same contingent that pushes SAD on an unsuspecting public. I can imagine that a diet subsisting on it, grass-fed beef and some dark green vegetation would be about perfect. The alkalinity, alone, should be a healing aspect not to be overlooked. In other words, do it!!

I've never tried this and neither do i recommend it.

A friend of mine experimented with this. In fact for 4 months he just had raw milk and eggs(raw/cooked). The last two months he added meat. His results were outstanding! He felt great, he had high energy plus the results his report from the doctor saw positive changes towards his health. So despite what people say, that no you need vegetables and fruit etc. It does work but you'll get bored really quickly.

add some blood and you've got yourself a traditional Maasai diet-- one of the oldest surviving herding communities in east Africa. check out Weston Price's research about them. apparently they're pretty darn healthy.
