If you subscribe to the whole food combining thing (I'm starting to) then I'd say to avoid having milk with high-protein foods (it obviously reduces stomach acidity) but even then, in moderation (like 4 oz), milk should go okay with most anything.
It doesn't exactly fit into most of the "food combining" categories. It's not particularly high in any of the macros. It's a balanced food and thus may be best taken on its own or with non-starchy veggies if consumed in abundance.
