Why do only meat, fat and fruit give me energy?

Ok, so the only foods that make me feel satiated and give me good energy is meat, fat and fruit. I like vegetables and tubers and they dont effect me negatively, but nothing gives me energy like the 3 foods i mentioned. Beyond that, except maybe stimulants, other foods make me feel either tired or queasy.

Just wondering if there is a reason for this from a nutrition perspective? Or is it mental? Maybe learned preference from childhood.

Thanks

Probably your beneficial gut bacteria can convert the fibers in these foods into SCFAs (well except the meat which should be fully digested in your small intestine).
