Is the PIS food pyramid paleo?

This is aphoristic, so take it for what it's worth as entertainment....coffee has this effect on me....

PIS (Aka Paleo Ingestive Scheme) could be said to be a food pyramid scheme having 10 servings of meat for a base. By contrast S_D pyramid schemes (fill in the blank with the nation of your choice, from A to Z they're all the same) have 10 servings of simple processed carbs forming their bases.

So is the PIS pyramid paleo? I would contend that it is not, but could be. If the base consists of a diet of meat derived from Neolithic animals, it is Neolithic. These animals were bred for work and secondary products (eggs, milk, skin, etc.), and eating them is a very high level Neolithic activity. On the other hand, PIS could be paleo if the diet consisted of wild squirrels and mollusks other than oysters.

Or maybe I'm just PISsy this morning.

Could you include a photo or a link to the PIS food pyramid for those of us who are unfamiliar with it? Thx!

For me paleolithic diet is a diet that is in total harmony with my biologic epigenetic switches. As I age and change my switches change there what my diet is must evolve as my epigenetic switches change.

Paleo for me is biologic harmony.

PaleoHacking is done to find where your current switch position is biologically.

Paleo is not identifying with other cultures who do not share your biologic switch position. They should should stand as references as what we should strive for in todays world.

Well, I'm sure squirrels aren't paleo either, because they've lived in proximity to humans for too long! :-)) Maybe we just need to figure out (individually) which whole foods agree with us and our guts.
