What is a proper balance of nutrients?

I've just been introduced to paleotrack.com, and what I want to know is, what is the goal for proper balance of fats/protein/carb, etc? Also, with the list of vitamins and percentage of what you're getting, what should I aim for? 100% of each vitamin daily?

It's an individual thing and depends upon your short term and long term goal.

100% food. Everything else is unnecessary complication.

You should aim to get all your vitamin levels at least close to 100%. It shouldn't be especially hard if you're eating your veggies. 100% on the site doesn't necessarily mean 100% in real life, as absorption varies based on other factors, but it's a good guideline.

Macronutrient ratios are going to be all over the map???some people have 10-20% carbs, others have 50%. If you're lifting and looking to build muscle, shoot for around .8-1g of protein per pound of bodyweight (.4-.5g/kg). Fat and carb percentages are really up to you, depending on your exercise and preference. Play around with it, and track how you feel for a couple of weeks, then go back and look at how you were eating.

I'm at 60% Fat, 30% Protein, 10% Carbs. I love to cook and eat a wide variety of foods. Once I figured out how easy it is to stick with those macros, I focused more on tracking omega-3 to omega-6 ratios.

I eat roughly 50% carbs, 30% fat and 20% protein.
