Super Decadent Breakfast/Brunch ideas for Mother's Day?

Answered on August 19, 2014

DH is having to dig himself out of a HUGE hole of forgetting Mother's Day last year, so I am trying to find super decadent Breakfast/Brunch recipe ideas.

Looking for gluten free and nightshade free, organ meat free. I have no issues with dairy so cheese isn't off limits.

Thanks for any help!

What about eggs benedict served over steaks rather than english muffins. You can serve it with grilled vegetables and roasted sweet potatoes.

I just had a pork chop with eggs over easy on top, with a coarse chopped kale with a sesame oil and lime juice dressing. Plain but in that direction is quite nice. Apple and cabbage with a pork chop is nice.

Maybe a nice steak with a coffee rub, grilled asparagus with a nice sauce, and look up grilled eggs in peppers, they look nice and taste great (can add cheese and chorizo too).

steak grilled or pan fried in duck fat with bearnaise sauce, home fries cooked in duck fat. eggs poached or fried sunny side up in butter(you could use duck fat too but i prefer butter personally for eggs) You could also use quail eggs instead so can line them all up on top of the steak. Then finish it off with some veggies of some sort.

Depending on how strict you want to be...

Paleo pancakes (there are tons of recipes out there) with homemade whipped cream, honey & fruit Giant omelette with lots of cheese and veggies plus a side of bacon and/or sausage Steak with blue cheese & fried eggs plus spinach

All with coffee and heavy cream or your favorite tea

Happy mother's day!
