Sprouted Rice Protein?

Answered on August 19, 2014

Anyone have any thoughts on Sprouted Rice Protein like Sun Warrior's as a protein supplement to regular meat intake?

for clarification...I am not asking this regarding replacing animal protein.

rather asking about if there are any downsides or potential upsides to using it (i.e. 98.2% digestion efficiency, long shelf life, easy use, etc).

...also, less interested in "H-G's didn't do it, so we shouldn't either"...just not my only lens in making decisions.

thanks for your thoughts.

I've tried it...chalky,poor digesting and grown in China. I just get great local eggs and put them into a smoothie raw.

Its more expensive because its targeted to vegans/vegetarians and there is not nearly as large a market like xlpharmacy for vegan-friendly supplements as there are for normal supplementers. Remember demand [without the supply to meet it] drives costs up, supply drives it down. In this case theres not a big supply because not a lot of companies are causing competition.
